Hey everyone!

I know it's been a while since I've posted on here, attending WashU is a lot more time consuming than I thought but I'm proud to say that I feel like I've finally found "my home away from home" there. I can't believe that I'm a junior now, but this summer I've decided to work towards a more positive change.

Goals for the summer:

-Do more art: I love art and I feel like I never have the time to do it anymore. My goal is to produce one artwork piece a month.
-Be more positive: I kind of have a negative outlook on things in life sometimes and my best friend pointed it out to me so I am aiming at being more positive about everything (his optimism is really contagious).
-Lose weight: self-explanatory. I signed up for Zumba and kickboxing, so we'll see how that goes.
-Save money for study abroad in the UK: That's right, I might be studying a semester in Brighton, UK! So excited
-Find a job
-Learn to not stress so much
-Be more adventurous

That's my list for now, I plan on trying to expand it as I go. Hope you're all doing well, happy summer to those of you who like me are off for the next few months

I know art-wise I haven't submitted anything new but now I'm back in the game. No homework this weekend so no excuses. I plan on starting a new LK sketch and have it done by this weekend!

I know everyone says it but college really does take up so much of your time. I'm slowly starting to like it better at Washu. Classes this semester are harder but really interesting and I don't have to suffer in art anymore with Mary. That teacher made my life hell last semester and thanks to her I decided not to get my degree in art as she considered me to be of high school level only (she didn't tell it to my face but you can tell that's what she wanted to say). If you didn't do it her way there was no other way. But whatever I'll do it for me then!

I started French in college and I'm loving it! Such a beautiful language and it's coming really easy to me because I speak Spanish and I'm excited cause this summer I'm studying abroad in France! 4 weeks in Paris, 1 in Nice and then 1 in London to see my aunt and uncle. Je ne peux pas attendre! Anyone from France wants to give me some suggestions maybe on places to go, things to do, I would really appreciate it!!

I haven't had a subscription for a while so if anyone is willing to donate points I'd really appreciate it! I'm willing to draw sketches for 5 points to anyone who's willing please!

I can't believe that I used to go onto this site so much and now I sign in and find 2,000 messages (most of which are deviations) because I don't log in after like 3 days.

I finally got settled into college (more or less) and am already in my third week as a freshman here at Washington University in St. Louis. I'm finally taking formal art classes and they are intense. It's very frustrating for me since it pushes me a lot and is a lot of work and I've never worked with charcoal but my student advisor told me she had the same problem and that we are both a bit headstrong so it's hard for us to try and create something in our minds and not have it come out as so. She says it gets better and I wont believe how much I grow, I'll take her word on it.

My gallery sucks currently, I think I last updated like at the beginning of the summer? Man I'm lame. Well I intend to create two pieces from the Little Mermaid- that is my new obsession after re-seeing it after a few years and watching the Pre-Broadway of the film on Youtube.

I've only done Disney humans once, which was for my Stitch Series but that was Aladdin and not LM so I hope it comes out decent enough. I warn it will take a few weeks since I have to squeeze it in whenever I can but I need to update more. I used to see people on DA complain that college takes up too much time and they can't be on the site anymore, I refuse to let college do so for me. This site has been so incredible to me and I've met such nice and brilliantly talented people.
